A Metroid Prime Trilogy port for the Nintendo Switch is reportedly complete, but potentially had its announcement delayed due to the Metroid Prime 4 issues. Nov 26, 2019 LeakyPandy has tweeted a new rumor that Nintendo is working on Metroid Prime Trilogy HD and a remade Super Metroid for the Nintendo Switch within the next 2 fiscal year's. Let's get a deep dive.
This includes internet protocol (IP)addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type,date/timestamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’smovement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Metroid hype continues to grow ever since Nintendo announced the for the Nintendo Switch during E3 2017. The sequel hasn't been seen or mentioned in an official capacity since then, but Nintendo Switch owners know their day is coming. But before Metroid Prime 4 comes back into the spotlight, Nintendo may have another Metroid Prime-related surprise in store.Tuesday afternoon Swedish retailer Inet posted a listing for a retail copy of a currently unannounced and unofficial Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch.
The listing provides a short description confirming the package will include Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. 'Three masterpieces now Shocked and Switched,' reads a translated message.
The listing implies it's an updated version of the released for the Wii.However, in addition to the short description, there's a confusing message presumably added by the storefront employee that posted the message. 'This product is only a rumor, but we think it will be announced at The Game Awards and will launch in early 2019 (Feb?).' Despite the fine print message, Inet is already allowing pre-orders for the product.
Beyond Inet's supposed rumor and its eerily specific release window and likely announcement event, there's plenty of supporting evidence worth considering. For one, Nintendo is already confirmed to be revealing 'something special' at The Game Awards 2018. This was confirmed by Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime in a conversation with Geoff Keighley on Twitter. And then there's the more general being unveiled at the show. All in all, there's not enough here to say with any certainty that Metroid Prime 4 or Metroid Prime Trilogy will be shown at The Game Awards 2018. But everything adds up to be highly suspicious. A Metroid Prime Trilogy release in early 2019, or at least before the eventual release of Metroid Prime 4, is smart release planning. And a potential Metroid Prime 4 teaser alongside a Metroid Prime Trilogy announcement would build a lot of excitement for the trailer.Nintendo fans can watch The Game Awards 2018 on December 6 and find out for themselves just what Nintendo plans to share.Metroid Prime Trilogy is out now for the Wii.
